    What is the mix ratio for Permethrin for animals, dogs & horses?
    A

    All of the different dilution rates are located on the product label on pages 19 - 22. For the most part, dogs require 1 1/3 ounce per gallon of water, horses and other animals are 2 oz per gallon of water.  Please read and follow the label instructions for specific treatment requirements.

    Safe for use to treat clothing?
    I understand that water based Permethrin concentrate is acceptable to be diluted to a 0.5% solution for application on clothing. Is this product water based, can it be diluted for use on clothing?

    How strong is the odor of Hi-Yield Indoor/Outdoor 10% Permethrin Insecticide when sprayed?
    Could you please give me an indication of how strong is the odor? I purchased the Petcor flea for dogs, which is safe to spray directly on the pets, but the odor is so strong - stronger than any of the other home & carpet sprays I purchased - and the dogs do not tolerate it at all. Thank you in advance for any advice you could offer.

    looking for product to use on my pumpkins and squash
    need to control squash bugs and cucumber beetles

    We would recommend using Hi-Yield Indoor/Outdoor 10% Permethrin Insecticide. It is labeled for both squash bugs and cucumber beetles and can safely be used on both pumpkins and squash. For fruits and vegetables, you will use 1 to 3 oz. in 4 gallons of water and it will cover 4,000 sq. ft.

    How to treat leafminers on citrus trees?
    lemon, orange and lome trees have leaf miners and I would like to spinosad but it is not available in Hawaii, do you have another safe product that you can recommend, I have blueberries under the fruit trees, btw these are dwarf trees.

    The only product we carry that is labeled for leafminers and can be used on edible fruit trees is our Hi-Yield Indoor/Outdoor Permethrin 10%.  For most applications you would mix 1 1/2 oz. per 4 gallons of water.  It will also treat many other pests that may do damage to the trees.

    Hi Yield with 10% Permthrin
    If I use this for grasshopper. Will it harm my 7 mo old puppy if she eats them?

    No your puppies will not be harmed if you are treating with Hi Yield 10% Permethrin, as long as you let the area dry before letting them re-enter. They would have to eat 15% of their bodyweight in grasshoppers to even have an upset stomach.

    What should we use to get rid of mosquitos without worrying about our pecan trees?
    We have a pool, pecan trees, and vegetables. We used Talstar P, but can we safely spray the leaves and still harvest the pecans. I am also worried about spraying near the pool or possibly getting some on the vegetable plants. Is there a safe option that will kill the mosquitos without the worry?

    What happens if I got a little Hi-Yield Indoor/Outdoor 10% Permethrin Insecticide in my swimming pool water?

    You should avoid getting Hi-Yield Indoor/Outdoor 10% Permethrin Insecticide into swimming pools though small amounts that accidentally get in a pool will be so diluted that there shouldn't be any concern.

    Hi-Yield Indoor/Outdoor 10% Permethrin Insecticide can be safely applied to tomatoes. The label states it should not be applied on Cherry Tomatoes and varieties yielding tomatoes less than one inch in diameter.

    Which product is the best to control viburnum crown borer?
    A

    We do not actually have a product that specifically lists the viburnum crown borer as a target pest.  However, the Hi-Yield 10% Permethrin is labeled for borers in general and works very well.  We are sure it would be effective on the borer you named as well as most others.

    After you spray Hi-Yield Indoor/Outdoor 10% Permethrin Insecticide how long do you wait to eat the okra?

    Hi-Yield Indoor/Outdoor 10% Permethrin Insecticide  is not specifically labeled for applications to okra. The harvest intervals are listed on the chart on the product label for vegetables/fruit on pages 13-18. You can use Triple Action on vegetables like okra up to the day of harvest.
