The mix rate needed for Hi-Yield Killzall Aquatic Herbicide depend on the type of weeds you are trying to control. You can use anywhere from 1 oz per gallon up to 10 1/4 oz per gallon of water. According to the Product Label many applications are recommended at the 2oz per gallon rate, however if you are not able to get complete coverage then you can up the dose to 6 2/3 oz per gallon or for trees and shrubs you can use up to 10 1/4 oz per gallon of water.

Hi-Yield Killzall Aquatic Herbicide does not control weeds that are submerged or the majority of any foliage under water. We do offer other aquatic herbicides that can be applied for submersed weeds. AquaStar is labeled for treatment of mature water lily and others.
While Hi-Yield Killzall Aquatic Herbicide is labeled for use around aquatic areas, we cannot tell you for certain that it is safe to use in or around koi ponds. We recommend contacting a local Koi expert for recommendations or consulting with the County Cooperative Extension Office or recommendations.
Per the Hi-Yield Killzall Aquatic Herbicide Label, there is no restriction on the use of treated water for irrigation, recreation, or domestic purposes.
The 3/4% is the percentage level of the active ingredient when Hi-Yield Killzall Aquatic Herbicide is mixed with water. In reference to the Chart on page 9 of the product label, the lowest percentatge of active ingredient when mixed with water is 3/4% and goes up to 8% of the active ingredient. The percentage of active ingredient recommended is based off what weeds you are targeting (annual, broadleaf, grassy, woody brush, vines, etc).
A frog or salamander should not have any harm come to them from an herbicide application including Hi-Yield Killzall Aquatic Herbicide if they are not sprayed directly or in the area before application has dried completely.
The rates for Hi-Yield Killzall Aquatic Herbicide will depend on the weeds you are targeting. Please refer to the product label for the recommended application rates for your application.
For annual and perennial weeds, Hi-Yield Killzall Aquatic Herbicide is recommended to be applied at the 5% solution rate (6 2/3 fl oz per gallon of water) and a 5% to 8% solution rate (6 2/3 fl oz to 10 ¼ fl oz) for woody brush and trees.
