I recommend Hi-Yield 2,4-D Amine for broadleaf weed control

I have a large yard that has a heavy infestation of all kinds of broadleaf weeds. Hi-Yeild 2,4-D has killed all of the broadleaf weeds with the exception of briers which takes a different type of chemical and different process of spot spraying because it will harm the grass. I don't buy weed sprays from the big box stores because of limited results. You should not spray 2,4-D when the wind is blowing if there is vegetation that will be damaged such as flowers,shrubs, small trees etc. Read all directions on label for in depth instructions.

I talked to a fellow from the manufacturer and he advised me the product is made for agricultural purposes and that is why there are no instructions for using it in a hose end sprayer. He advised me to use 1 1/3 oz. Per gallon of water. I did and the clover I sprayed it on seemed to thrive. It has been 2 weeks and the clover was not affected. Today, I am going to try again and double the dosage. So far, no actual results.

We apologize that you did not get the expected results with this product. It is not usually recommended to use a hose end sprayer to apply herbicides as sometimes they are not very accurate. Keep in mind that large broadleaf weeds such as clover are difficult to control, especially if they are well-established, and may require more than one application.
