How are you supposed to empty the Headwind Consumer Products EZ Read Rain Gauge?

Is the bottom supposed to come off or just dump rain from the top?

Answer:

The Headwind EZ Read Rain Gauge should have a small tab on the bottom that allows you to release the tube from the bracket you have mounted on the fence. You can dump the water, and put the tube pack in place and replace the tab to secure it.
