The Terra Verde Compound Bypass Pruner is mostly for smaller cuts on live plants, such as shaping shrubs and trimming flowers. You can use this tool to prune anything that will feet in the open blade, but it will work best for branches that are usually under about 2 inches so the branch is deep into the blade.
