How can I control aphids on my plum trees?

I sprayed with Fruit Tree Spray. It killed the aphids, but scarred the fruit and three weeks later the aphids are back. These are quite large trees and the infestation is significant, so dusting is not feasible.

Answer:

We would recommend using Fertilome Triple Action Plus to control aphids. The Triple Action Plus covers a wide variety of insects and diseases that can affect your plums and can be used safely on a variety of fruits and vegetables right up to day of harvest. Reapply Triple Action Plus at 7-14 day intervals as needed for insect control. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
