If the ladybugs are in your home, they most likey moved in during last fall. Now that the weather is warming up the ladybugs are coming out of their hiding places (usally wall voids, drop ceilings attics) and trying to find their way outdoors. Unfortunately, after the ladybugs have gained entry there is not much you can do beyond vacuuming them up. applying a residual insecticide such as Cy-Kick Aerosol around the door frames and window frames and other cracks and crevices may give you some relief. If the lady bugs are swarming around outdoors you can apply a long lasting residual insecticide such as Demon WP to the exterior of your home around the door frames, window frames, areas where utilities(cables, pipes, wires) enter into the structure, eaves, soffits and any other crack, crevice or gap where they could be gaining entry. It is also important to repair ripped or torn screens and seal up as many entry points as possible.
