How can I use Boracare on 100-year-old barn timbers of 12x12, 10x10, and 8x8 pine and oak beams and corner posts?

Barn built in 1848 and current and old powder post beetle (and others) infestations.

Answer:

Bora-Care is diluted as directed in a separate container and mixed prior to putting into a sprayer and evenly applied to all sides of the raw wood or by painting on the surfaces. It should not be applied to wood that is stained, painted, varnished, sealed etc. Here is a chart with the amount needed based on the size of the lumber.
