Would like to know how to maintain and service my own sprayer. Is there a way to disassemble the pump and piston without damaging the plastic?
To disassemble the Chapin Replacement Pump Part 6-4619: There are two tabs under the handle in which you can push in a screw driver and then up, on both sides, then the handle will pull out from the barrell. Once you're done servicing the pump, just insert the handle back in place and the retainer will pop back in. If you need to, you may also contact Chapin at 1-800-950-4458.
