We tried cutting the top off a plastic bottle inverting it in the bottle and putting vinegar in it for bait but it didn't work.
We would recommend using the Catchmaster Disposable Fly Trap (975-8) to control those pesky Hover Flies. Place it about 15 feet from your front door.
