How do I get rid of Yellow Jackets?

I live in Caldwell, Idaho and have a lot of yellow jackets.

Answer:

Talstar P (Talstar One) is a wonderful general pesticide. It is labeled to be used on yellow jackets and hornets. You will use 1 fl. oz. per gallon of water. Applications should be done at night when the pests are alight. Spray heavily in areas where they hide and breed. Apply again only if there is new insect activity. This would be an excellent residual product for the yellow jackets and hornets. If you know where the nests are and can readily reach them, we would recommend using Wasp-X. This product can be used up to 15 feet away from the nest. This product will foam and cover the nest. It will provide a knockdown and fast kill of hornets and yellow jackets.
