How do I open the rat bait stations? Is the poison alive if a dog eats a dead rat?

Answer:

Some rat bait stations open with a key while others are screwed closed and open with an alan wrench. Most of the rodenticides that we carry would not harm a dog in a secondary poisoning situation, such as a dog eating a rat that had died after eating the bait. Please read the product label before using the bait.
