After drilling 1/2" holes in the concrete pads which butt up to the foundation of my house, I noticed that I had drilled through some mole or gopher tunnels. If I pour Termidor into the 1/2" holes where the tunnels exist, the product will disperse into the tunnels instead of saturating the soil between the tunnels and the concrete. Any suggestions?
We think this is actually a good thing, because it is better for the Termidor to spread out underneath the slab if possible so you get better coverage. If you drilled holes every 10 to 12 inches apart and filled them with the Termidor, then there is most likely gaps between where you drilled the holes. If the holes go into a void area then the product will spread out. Also, keep in mind that termites come from deep underground so when they decide they are hungry and go up towards the surface, all that matters is that they walk through the Termidor somewhere, no matter where the treated soil is. So if you pour the product in the hole and it spreads out, in our eyes there is a better chance that the termites will walk through the Termidor then if the product was only every 10 to 12 inches apart.
