Can I try it for no see-ums that are biting me?
First, you must properly identify the insect you are trying to get rid of to know for sure if Gentrol will work for it. You can get a sample of the insect and go to your local cooperative extension office to request an insect identification. Gentrol Point Source has an active ingredient that is slightly more dense than air and actually is carried a small distance on the air because of this density. After the insect you are dealing with is properly identified, you must also make sure you are using the correct formulation of Gentrol (also available in a concentrated liquid and an aerosol)as the Point source is only labeled for select insects. Gentrol will not give you immediate relief. Gentrol works gradually over time to interrupt the insects breeding cycle.
