Answer:

When pests come into contact with CimeXa dust, the product clings to their exoskeleton and absorbs the waxy coating, causing death from dehydration.  Cimexa does not kill immediately but instead will take several hours to actually kill the bugs but it is very long lasting in undisturbed areas and there is no known resistance to the product.
