Bifen XTS uses the active ingredient bifenthrin in highly concentrated oil based formulation to kill mosquitoes and other listed insects that come into contact with the treated surface.Bifen XTS is ideal for regions where there is heavy rainfall throughout the year and a tougher residual is needed (4-8 weeks). Being oil based, this can stain porous surfaces and burn foliage if applied during the heat of the day. Demand CS is a water based microencapsulated insecticide using the active ingredient lambda-Cyhalothrin which has the same mode of action as bifenthrin. This being a water based insecticide can be used indoors and outdoors, doesn’t stain or have an odor and will provide about a 30 day residual outdoors.
