I am starting to see signs of bitter cress in my lawn and I plan to over seed with carpet grass this spring.
Since Martin's TopShot Weed Killer is not labeled as safe to use on carpetgrass, we would not recommend using it on this type of turf at all. A great product to use for post-emergent control of bittercress in carpetgrass would be Dismiss Herbicide. After applying Dismiss Herbicide, you would need to wait at least one month before overseeding. You can view full application directions on the product label here.
