How long after treatment is the product still effective for prevention from bed bugs?

I just had my home professionally fumigated for bed bugs. I want to begin a monthly regimen to ensure this doesn't occur ever again. Is this a good choice?

If you are treating for an active infestation of bed bugs, it is best to treat every 10-14 days until you do not see activity for 30 days.
