I had a cloth moth infestation and have already quarantined some suspect feather arrangements, rugs etc... since April. I can’t tell for sure if these items have eggs so I have placed each item in a sealed trash bag with a Nuvan strip, sprayed with Precor 2625 and zip tied in the garage.
Typically you want to keep stored items with Nuvan ProStrips sealed for at least 2 weeks. Most clothing moth eggs hatch in about 10 days, so you are trying to catch newly hatching eggs and adults during that time. If you can store items for longer, then you decrease risk of missing any immature moths.
