How long does it take for Transport Mikron to kill bed bug after walking on treated furniture?
For example, home was treated with heat treatment then followed with Transport Mikron. 4 days after, a live bed bug crawled out of couch fold. Adult bed bug, if not for me killing bug, how long does it take when bed bug exposed/ walking on chemically treated furniture, does it take to die? Worried about resistance.
Answer:
Bedbugs can take several hours to a day or so before they die after coming into contact with treated areas. Transport Mikron Insecticide is labeled to kill bedbugs, but it should not be used as the sole product when treating for bedbugs. It can be used along baseboards, cracks, and crevices and you can use other products like Bedlam to treat seems and folds of mattress, bed frames, etc. We recommend also using a dust like Cimexa Dust to treat other areas like wall voids and power outlets.
