My orchids have a problem with mealy bugs. I'm trying Natria insect and mite control. The white residue left by this product is a little unsightly on the leaves, but then so is the white mess the mealies leave. How long must I leave the product on before I can wipe off? I intend to treat again in 10 days just to be sure.
If you are removing any visible residue from the Natria Insect Disease & Mite Control RTU, then you would need to keep in mind that you may be removing some of the effect of the product itself. This will be mostly the sulfur, though, since the pyrethrin is only effective while it's wet. Be sure you are getting good coverage on the tops and bottoms of the leaves.
