How long is Optigard Cockroach Gel Bait effective against roaches?

Answer:

Optigard Cockroach Gel Bait is effective in helping to control roach populations as long as fresh bait placements are applied, and as long as there are no competing food sources. This bait can be partnered with Advion Evolution or Advion Cockroach Gel Bait for rotational management.  We recommend using baits in conjunction with a non-repellent insecticide and an IGR (insect growth regulator) for complete control over a roach infestation.  Please refer to our Roach Control Kits for examples of the recommended products to be used in addition to roach baits, and to our Cockroach Treatment Guide for all recommended steps for successful roach elimination.
