How long should I wait to eat the grapefruit on my tree, after using Bayer advanced complete insect killer?

I used this product on the soil around my grapefruit tree, last summer. Can I eat the grapefruit, on it, now, in March?

You should not eat the grapefruits for one full year after the application was made because the product is not meant to be used on citrus trees.
