Hello, About 8 weeks ago, I saw an adult roach. Then 3 weeks later, 1 nymph. A few days ago I bought Advion gel and Gentrol Point Source and applied it in some of the rooms. My baby and I live in a 650 sq feet apartment. 1) How long do we need to continue the Advion gel and Gentrol for? 2) Should we change the Advion gel every 2 weeks? 3) Should we place Gentrol/Advion in every room even though we do not see activity in some rooms? 4) When should we start cooking again? We've stopped this past week because we really want these roaches to be dead. 5) How many Gentrol discs should we be using? Does it affect the adults? (I've read varying where they prematurely lay eggs and eggs do not hatch ... is that true?) 6) How many days can we typically expect a roach to live for if they happen to escape the bait and discs? Thank you so much!
A roach control treatment will depend on the level of activity you have. Gentrol Point Source Stations can last and be replaced every three months. Advion Cockroach Bait Gel will need to be applied fresh every 2 to 3 weeks and we do recommend to rotate to a different bait gel at least every three months. We also recommend spraying with Temprid FX on baseboards, cracks and crevices, this and the bait gel could kill a roach within approximately 72 hours or so.
