How many ounces of Barricade to use per 1000 sq ft in a two gallon sprayer?

How many tablespoons do you use per 1000 sq ft?

Answer:

You must read the product label to determine how much you need as the rate per acre depends on what you are treating, what type of grass that you have, and what area of the country you are in.  Typically, you apply between 1 and 1.5 lbs of product per acre. You should mix the required amount of Barricade (0.185-0.55 oz per 1,000 sq ft) in to at least .5 gal of water. In this case, the water only acts like a carrier so the actual amount of water you use to apply the product does not matter very much and you could use .5 to 2 or 3 gallons and you will have pretty much the same result. After Barricade has been applied, it must be watered in with at least 1/2 inch of water (rain or irrigation is fine).
