How many ounces per gallon of Ornamec 170 should I use to kill foxtail? And will it hurt wildflowers?

I spread just store bought wildflower seed on a hill in our backyard every year. The wildflowers always come up real good. But I have to continually pull out all the foxtail

Answer:

Gordons Ornamec 170 Grass Herbicide should not harm wildflowers when used as directed.  There is a list of tolerable plants on the label that we would recommend reviewing to confirm yours are listed.  If they are not we would recommend either avoiding spraying the wildflowers directly or testing a small area first to confirm no injury. Per the product label for broadcasting in ornamentals application is:  For annual grass species, use 6 to 9 fluid ounces of ORNAMEC 170 GRASS HERBICIDE per 1000 square feet. For perennial grass species, use 9 fluid ounces of ORNAMEC 170 GRASS HERBICIDE per 1000 square feet per application. Three applications will be needed.
