Large clumps of Johnson grass scatted across field.
For the control of Johnsongrass, Celsius WG Herbicide recommends applying at the rate of .057 oz per 1k square feet. In order to determine how much water to use, you will need to calibrate your sprayer. Here is a video to assist with that Per the product label: For broadcast applications, use a minimum of 10 gallons of water per acre. For weed control in dense weed populations, control of weeds under adverse growing conditions, or control of mature weeds, the optimum spray volume is 60 gallons per acre. Celsius is only labeled to be used on Warm-Season Turf Types Only in Commercial and Residential Sites, it is not labeled to be used in any type of hay field or pasture where animals graze.
