How much MSM per gallon of water to kill wild onions?

Answer:

MSM Turf Herbicide is intended for larger scale applications as it is applied at rates ranging from 0.25 oz to 1 oz in 100 gallons of water/per acre. For spot treating, the product label states to use 1 oz per 100 gallons of water which breaks down to be 0.01 oz per gallon of water along with 0.32 fl oz of Non Ionic Surfactant.

For Wild Onion specifically (page 13), the recommended application rate is 0.33 to 0.5 oz/per acre in 100 gallons of water + 32 oz Non Ionic Surfactant. For broadcast applications to less than 1 acre, this rate breaks down to 0.02 to 0.06 grams of MSM Turf Herbicide plus 0.32 oz NIS per gallon of water per 1000 sq ft.

Please view the product label for more information.
