MSM Turf Herbicide states to use 0.5 fl oz to 1 fl oz per acre for foxtail but it is not labeled for horsenettle. If you are treating 10 acres, you would use 5 fl oz to 10 fl oz for 10 acres. hat would be 5oz-10z for all 10 acres. High volume ground application will require 100 to 400 gallons of water per acre; Low volume ground application will require 20 to 50 gallons of water per acre; and ultra-low volume ground application will require 10 to 20 gallons of water per acre. Regardless of the application volume and equipment used, thorough coverage of the foliage is necessary to optimize results For horsenettle, Milestone Specialty Herbicide would be recommeneded at the rate of 5 fl oz to 7 fl oz per acre. Please refer to page 5 of the product label for more specific information. A Non Ionic Surfactant is recommended on both product labels for MSM Turf and Milestone Herbicide for best results.
