How much of Southern Ag Chelated Liquid Iron do I use in a hose sprayer?

I have approximately 1400 square feet of lawn. I want to use an Ortho Dial M Spray hose sprayer. If I decide to use a 2 gallon hand held pump sprayer, how much product?

Answer:

If you are applying the Southern Ag Chelated Liquid Iron for shrubs, flowers, etc. (instead of lawns), you can still calibrate the 1 TBSP per gallon of water rate with a hose-end sprayer. For lawns, there is a much higher use rate, so you will be forced to use more water per area. For example, if you are using 16 oz of concentrate to treat 2,000 sq ft (the low rate of 8 oz per 1,000 sq ft), then you would put 16 oz in the sprayer reservoir, which should reach to the red "6" line on the reservoir. You would then set the top dial to the 6 gallon setting, and spray until all the product is used up over that 2,000 sq ft area.
