How much product should be used per gallon of water when dissolving for spray?

I can calculate how much total product I need based on the size of my pond. But, when dissolving for use in a sprayer, what is the ratio of product to a gallon of water? I don't want to dilute it too much and make it ineffective.

Answer:

Crystal Blue Copper Sulfate is a granule algaecide that is applied directly to the water. You should not try to dilute this product and spray it. The granules are used at rates from 0.68 - 5.4 pounds per acre foot of water, depending on the target algae and how heavy the infestation is. Please refer to the product label for complete instructions.
