Brian from Upstate, Ny writes

How much Tenacity Herbicide do I used per gallon of water if I have a FIMCO 30 Gallon Sprayer at 4 mph that applies 19 gallons of water per 1000 sq ft with a pressure setting of 30 psi.

Answer:

Depending on what type of grass type you have, you will need to use anywhere from 5 to 8 oz of Tenacity Herbicide per acre or 0.11 to 0.18 oz per 1,000 square feet. The product labels states to use a minimum of 30 gallons of water per acre (0.69 gallons of water per 1000 sq ft) for adequate coverage therefore we recommend making your application at 3 mph or contacting the sprayer manufacturer for tips on adjusting to your needs. Please review the Tenacity product label for the recommended rate for your turfgrass and complete instructions.
