How many times must this be applied for control of nematodes? What is the square footage rate for applying to a small area? What time of the year is best to use?
Per the Nimitz Pro G Nematicide label there are 4 different treatment options available, depending on which one you pick will determine how much product you should apply. When it lists the total amount to use per acre you simply divide it by 43.5 to figure out how much product to use per 1,000 sq. ft. So for example if it states to use 120 lbs per acre this would be 2.75 lbs per 1,000 sq. ft, as there are 43,560 feet in an acre. The label states you can apply anytime when the soil temperature is above 55 degrees.
