I have a large area with crabgrass and want to put sod down after I use Surflan Pro Herbicide (40.4%)
It is recommeded to wait 90-120 days following the application of Surflan Pro Herbicide (Oryzalin 40.4%) to reseed or sod. The product label stresses that it is important that proper cultrual practices such as soil cultivation, irrigation and fertilization are done prior to reseeding or sodding. Applying Surflan Pro Herbicide (Oryzalin 40.4%) to newly sprigged or sodded areas of bermudagrass, St. Augustine, Centipede or Zoysiagrass before they turfgrasses are well established and have a well anchored root system can injure the turf.
