After you have prepared your property for your pest control treatment, it is time to mix and apply your Temprid FX perimeter spray.

To get started, put on your personal protective equipment, or PPE.  You will need chemical-resistant gloves, a long-sleeve shirt, long pants, socks, and shoes.

Each eight milli-liter bottle of Temprid FX will be mixed with water to make one gallon of finished solution.  Depending on the amount of solution you need spray the perimeter of your structure, you may need to repeat this step for each gallon of solution you need.

To make one gallon of finished solution,
•    Add half a gallon of water to your sprayer.
•    Add one eight milli-liter bottle of Temprid FX.
•    Close the lid and shake the sprayer to mix.
•    Add another half-gallon of water to the sprayer.
•    Close the sprayer, and shake one final time.

Now that you have mixed your insecticide, it is time to spray around your home.

You'll want to spray on a calm day, when there is no wind, and when rain is not expected 24 hours before or after your application, to ensure you're getting the maximum pest protection.

First, you'll want to spray around the foundation. Using a coarse spray, apply a continual band up 3 feet and out 3 feet from the ground.  You'll want to make sure you apply enough spray cover the surfaces without having excessive dripping or runoff, and spray enough over any ground coverings to reach through to the soil.

After you've sprayed around the foundation, apply up to a 1 inch band around window frames, around door frames, around vents, and where cables, pipes, and wires enter the structure.

You can also spray the underside of eaves, roof overhangs, and soffits.

Do not apply Temprid FX directly onto impervious surfaces such as sidewalks, paved driveways, concrete landings, or patios, except as a crack and crevice treatment, and do not spray onto structural areas located above impervious surfaces, including garage doors over paved driveways.

You'll also want to avoid spraying into or where the spray could run-off into storm drains, drainage ditches, or gutters, and around wells and well houses.

After you've finished applying your Temprid FX perimeter spray, follow the manufacturer's instructions to clean your sprayer.
