My home was sprayed with Bifen IT 4 weeks ago. I walked barefoot in my home the day of the spraying, even though I gave it 4 hours to fully dry before re-entering, and a few other times over the past weeks, although I have mostly been trying to wear slippers. My feet burn and tingle and the sensation has been persistent. I have some slight nausea and headache as well. It seems that no amount of mopping with any kind of cleaning solution has made any difference in lifting the Bifen IT residue, and my feet seem to have a slightly waxy residue I can never wash out with any amount of soap and water. What can I do?
We would recommend contacting a medical professional about the product coming into contact with your skin. We are unable to give advice on this as we are not doctors and as stated on the product label in regards to if this product comes into contact with your skin, "- Take off contaminated clothing. - Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. - Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice."
As for the floors, soap and water should have been able to clean up the application from any left over residue. It is possible that the product was misused/overapplied which is causing issues. We would recommend contacting the manufacturer directly for further assistance at 866-897-8050.
