Have a travel trailer and will be camping in areas of East Texas where ants are an issue in the soil. Don't want to spray around jacks because someone will complain I'm damaging the environment. Is there an insecticidal dust of some type I can sprinkle around the jacks that will prevent the ants from crawling up them and enter the underside of the camper?
There is nothing that can prevent ants or other insects from crawling onto areas and dust/spray products are not really designed to repel. They are meant more to kill those that contact a treated area and provide a long residual to do so. A good option woud be to use a bait around the area that would not be harmful to the environment but can help kill the ants, Intice 10 would be a good option.
