Customer Reviews for Howard Johnsons T - Methyl 2.08% Granular Systemic Fungicide

I have used this chemical before in liquid form, but thought I would try granular application for my yard. This product produces an extreme amount of very small dust particles. To apply with a push spreader, you would need a full face mask and respirator. I tried to apply it to half my yard and my protective clothing was white with the dust after only applying 1/2 of the bag. I would definitely not recommend this to anyone unless you plan to fully suit up and use a respirator.

I have found this product to not be "Granular" as it is advertised. When applying it is a very fine powder, almost like Talcum powder, which flies everywhere. I was covered in white powder after spreading it. Will no buy it again.

I was starting to have some small brown patches, pop up in my lawn, and after the two applications of this product, it cleared right up. It does what it says, can’t ask for more than that.

First off I am new to fungicides, never had a problem with it but just started a basic preventative program. So I thought I read the instructions, but I think this killed some of my grass. So be careful with this stuff.

I have done my own pest control and yard maintenance for 50 years. It was sometimes satisfying and sometimes frustrating. I had used DMOPC for years to buy hard to find product. Being in the ag industry, I had a good idea of the various products' effectiveness, but purchases in small quantities (pounds not tons) was difficult. I decided to try the subscription service for disease control. What a difference. The product, HoJo T-Methly in granular, was hard to find elsewhere. It was delivered as advertised. Using it I was shocked to see my St. Augustine yard damage quickly recover. I observed the damage was mostly from fungus not insects, which I previously overly targeted. I was too lazy in the past to analyze the problem, I guess. Great results. Just as the effect of the first application was fading, a second delivery arrived (2 weeks). The timing was perfect (and according to DMOPC schedule). It worked even better on the fungal problems which were trying to re-establish themselves. I love this plan. Only one small related issue. I tried to upgrade my disease plan to include the weed control plan thinking it would be as successful as the disease subscription, but the process was not user friendly and I gave up. DMOPC, you need to work on this.
