If I buy this kit will I have to continue to buy it every week or month like the other drain flies gel?

Answer:

The Drain Fly Kit is enough to treat 2 drains. The gel in the kit should be applied as 4 oz down the drain every night for 1 week.  Use drain gel weekly for high-use drains or monthly for home drains for maintenance.
