If I can't seed for 2 months once preemergent is applied. How do I prevent weed growth?

Field was tilled in fall, crabgrass took over. Is there something I can do to prevent weed growth

Answer:

Unfortunately, when the seeding customer will need to decide between seeding or applying a pre-emergent such as Prodiamine 65 WDG (Generic Barricade), we would recommend waiting for soil temperatures to get warm enough & for the weeds to germinate to apply a post-emergent. Next year if you are not seeding, you can apply for a pre-emergent
