Sprayed with crossfire and seemed to be free for 3 weeks. Then I began to see signs and get bites again. Sprayed a second time 30 days ago but it seemed to have no effect. Sprayed for a third time a few days ago. If the residual is supposed to last for a full 30 days then why do we need to reapply so often?
Per the manufacturer, Crossfire Bed Bug Concentrate should be applied every 30 days for preventative treatments.
For active bed bug infestations, it is necessary to retreat every 7-10 days with Crossfire along with an insecticide dust such as Cimexa Dust to reach further back into cracks and crevices where bed bugs hide. This process needs to be reapplied every 7-10 days until you go 30 full days without seeing any signs of beds.
After the application of Crossfire has dried, dust along baseboards, in corners, around window/door trims, undersides of boxsprings, between the mattress and box springs, inside hollow furniture legs, etc.
