Marilynn from Riverton writes

If the weed are yellowed, do I have to let the weeds completely die before I cover with mulch?

The weeds are dying and I'm anxious to put mulch on the bed. Do I have to wait until the weeds are completely dead? What happens if I pull the dying weeds?

Answer:

You do not have to let the weeds completely die before applying mulch on top of the weeds and you may pull the weeds if yellowing is already occurring.
