If I use this and it rains the next day, will it still work?

I just purchased this product and it will rain tomorrow, less than 24 hour. It this okay or should I wait. Also, should I water before applying?

Answer:

You should water in after the application of Bonide Weed Beater Complete like you would with other pre-emergent herbicides. Bonide Weed Beater Complete should be applied prior to rainfall, and 24 hours prior should be enough time to allow product to sit. It is important to irrigate the area after the product has been applied to activate it. The product needs to reach the thatch area to prevent the weeds from germinating, so irrigation is very important as soon as possible.
