If you use a Pyrethrin Fogger in an attic, do you need to worry about appliances that cycle on and off like a refrigerator?

I want to fog my attic. Just for pest control. House is a small ranch. If I am using the fogger in the attic, do I need to turn my refrigerator off. And if so how long does the refrigerator need to be off?

Answer:

There would be no cause of concern for appliances that are not in the room and would not be exposed to the fumes of the Pyrethrin Fogger unless the attic is a room that's less than 5 ft x 5 ft or smaller. Per the label (page 2), a room that's 5 ft x 5 ft or smaller will need to remain open and allow the fog to enter from other rooms, if this is the case then all ignition sources and electrical appliances that cycle off and on will need to be turned off.
