Tilting has made future garden area a solid nutgrass mat. I want to destrot all nutgrasses and tilt again, furrow, plant seeds such as Squash, Corn, Beans, Greens, etc., and plants like Tomatoes, Peppers, Okra, etc.

After consulting with several people at the manufacturer of the Image Kills Nutsedge Concentrate, you would need to give a minimum of 1 year after use before planting edibles and make sure to till the ground well and potentially introduce some fresh soil to be incorporated in as well before planting.

  • Asked by Sean

    Q
Can Image Kills Nutsedge be mixed with other selective herbicides like Speedzone on Bermudagrass?
    A

We do not recommend mixing Speedzone Herbicide with additional active ingredients such as Image Kills Nutsedge since Speedzone already has multiple active ingredients. Image would be safe to use on Bermuda grass, however Speedzone may cause discoloration on Bermuda in hot temperatures or if applied during spring green-up.

  • Asked by Joe from Little Rock, Ar
    09/23/2018
    Q
Can Image Kills Nutsedge Concentrate be mixed in w/ 2,4D and Quinclorac?
    A

As long as the product label for the other products you are applying do not prohibit mixing with other herbicides, then it should be fine to apply 2,4-D, quinclorac, and Image Kills Nutsedge Concentrate. Just be sure to follow the more restrictive instructions and the proper dilution rates for each product. It will be best to treat in the morning when plants are less stressed. Be sure only to use these products on desirable turf that is otherwise healthy to avoid injury. If you have not used these products on the turf together before, then you may want to test a small area before making broadcast applications to test turf tolerance.
