Adonis 75 WSP is labeled to control psyllids, however, only as a foliar application prior to establishment of high pest populations. Part of this is that Adonis 75 packets are made to be diluted in very high volumes of water, which would be extremely difficult to apply evenly for soil drenching. For smaller applications or for a soil drench, you could apply Adonis 2F, which is a liquid concentrate version of this product with the same active ingredient. Per page 34 of the product label, use 0.1 to 0.2 fl. oz. per inch of trunk diameter for trees, or per foot of shrub height for shrubs and apply uniformly as a drench around the base of plants to be treated, using no less than 10 gallons of water per 1,000 square feet. Direct application to the root area, and remove plastic or any other barrier that will stop the solution from reach the root zone.
