Is Alligare 2,4-D Amine Herbicide safe for crimson clover even though it says it will kill red clover?

Answer:

The Alligare 2,4-D Amine Herbicide is designed to target broadleaf weeds and would not be selective on types of clover it would control. We would not recommend spraying it over any desirable clovers in your yard as damage would be likely.
