Is Bifen XTS recommended to kill chinch bugs?

Live in Northwest Florida near the panhandle and have a St. Augustine lawn.

Answer:

Bifen XTS can be applied every 2 weeks for chinch bugs at the rate of 0.07-0.15 fl. oz using sufficient volume of water that evenly and thoroughly covers 1000 sq ft. The addition of a nonionic surfactant to maximize efficacy against sub-surface pests. This will help ensure the spray penetrates soil down through the thatch.
