Is bora-care safe to use on bee hives?

I'm in the process of building bee hives and other lumber in my shop has Powderpost beetles. I've removed the infected lumber and I'm looking to treat the rest of the lumber in my shop before I finish building the hives. Will bora-care effect honey bees? Outside will be painted with bare wood inside.
