Is Charger Basic Herbicide the generic brand of Pennant Magnum but labeled for crops instead of lawns/turfgrass?

Yes, Charger Basic Herbicide uses the same active ingredient S-metolachlor - 83.7% as Pennant Magnum however Charger Basic is registered as an agricultural product for use around listed crops on the product label and specifically advises “ do not use on turf, landscape plantings or in nurseries”  Pennant Magnum is labeled to be used in Commercial and Residential warm-season turfgrass and ornamentals as well as other non crop areas.
